Meet the Team
Mr. Aldrich
Hello! I am Mr. Aldrich, I am one of the 7th grade math teachers here at Lewis Central Middle School. I am excited to be here for this is my second year here at Lewis Central. I am originally from Clarinda, Iowa and went to college at the University of Northern Iowa. I am a huge sports fan (baseball is my favorite) and I cheer for the Huskers any chance I get! I am excited to help you in your journey through middle school and education! If there is anything you ever need I am always an email away!
Ms. Longwill
Hello! I am Ms. Longwill. I have been teaching 7th grade math at LCMS my entire career-12 years! I attended college at IWCC before transferring to UNI and I earned my Master's degree from Peru State. I have 2 children ages 11 and 7. I love to watch football-both college (Go Hawkeyes!) and professional (This could be the year the Rams make their comeback!). I also enjoy coffee, ice cream, my morning walks, and watching my kids play sports. No matter how long I teach, every year is new and different and that is what excites me the most about teaching. I love being able to see former students contributing to our community in various ways, and someday soon that will be YOU!
Ms. Blaine
Welcome to Math 7! My name is Ms. Blaine. This is my first year at LCMS where I will be teaching 7th grade Math. Most of my life I lived in northeast Ohio but moved to Council Bluffs several years ago to be closer to my daughter and her family. I am blessed to have two sweet granddaughters and I love to spend time with them whenever I can. My son is still in Ohio finishing his degree at Ohio State University. I am looking forward to working with you in Math and our time together this year. We have a fantastic group of 7th grade Math teachers who are always willing to help whether or not you are in their class. Just ask. You can always set up an appointment to meet with me personally before school around 7 AM and after school until around 3:30 PM. Or we can find another time that works for both of us. Please be sure to ask for help when you need it. We are going to have be a great year!
